During this 90-minute workshop, students participated in a series of interactive activities aimed at helping them reflect on and plan their future careers. The workshop was designed especially for college undergraduates and was structured into six engaging sessions.

We began with a warm welcome and an icebreaker where students shared what they wanted to be when they were 8 years old. This created a relaxed and open atmosphere, allowing participants to connect over childhood dreams.

In the second session, students were guided through a visualization exercise where they imagined a day in their ideal future life. This was followed by a journaling activity, where they wrote in detail about what their dream day would look like. Both activities encouraged students to think creatively and personally about their aspirations.

Next, students created a “future CV,” imagining the experiences, skills, and accomplishments they would want to include. This exercise helped them identify concrete goals and milestones. Building on this, they then developed a personalized study roadmap, outlining the academic steps needed to reach those future goals.

Finally, the workshop concluded with a mini debrief and action step planning. Students reflected on what they learned and wrote down at least one concrete action they would take in the coming weeks to move closer to their goals.

Overall, the workshop was well-received, and students left with more clarity and motivation regarding their future paths.
