The purpose of this department is to cultivate basic political and economic leaders who are active and have international capabilities. In addition to pursuing further education and employment in China, graduates of this department are also expected to use the courses they have learned to plan their future.

According to recent census data from the School Affairs Research Center, the average monthly income of one-year graduates from the School of Global Development (all English teaching + junior year abroad) is RMB 39,100, which is the highest among all schools in the school and higher than the second-ranked graduates from the School of Education. Pay 2,300 yuan. The average monthly income of graduates from the School of Engineering, who have graduated three years after graduation, is 48,700 yuan, which is still the highest in the school. It is 2,700 yuan higher than the 46,000 yuan earned by graduates from the second-ranked School of Engineering.
