Hello everyone! We are the Anfrel team.
Time flies, and our meaningful internship is now approaching its final stage. This week, instead of focusing solely on work, we’d like to share some of our cultural and lifestyle experiences in Thailand.
One major highlight was recording a podcast episode on the topic “Challenges in Japanese Politics.” Through our discussion, we explored structural issues such as political apathy and youth disengagement, and reflected on how similar democratic challenges appear across Asia.
Aside from intellectual discussions, we balanced things out with some physical activity—we attended another Muay Thai class! It was an exciting, sweaty, and energizing way to connect with Thai culture through movement and discipline.
We also got a taste of Bangkok’s vibrant nightlife. Whether it was lively night markets or casual local bars, the city showed us a completely different but equally fascinating face after dark.
On the weekend, we visited the famous Chatuchak Market. From food and fashion to handmade crafts, the massive variety was truly eye-opening. Many of us picked up souvenirs to bring back home!
This week was a great mix of insight, fun, and exploration. We’re feeling recharged and ready for our final presentations and parliament visit. Let’s finish strong!
