This week we had the opportunity to participate in PHT's Working Tour, an event that allowed us to experience and learn about the local cultural heritage with students from the local international school. They first came to the PHT office to listen to Mr. Clement's presentation about the old houses, and then they led a field trip to visit various cultural heritage sites. We visited many historical sites in Penang, such as the Little India area, the Kapitan Keling Mosque, and the Kuan Yin Temple, and heard many stories about Penang, such as its colonial history, trade development, and immigrant culture, as well as the diverse culture and customs of Penang, such as the harmonious coexistence of different races and religions, and the rich and colorful food and arts. The value of the cultural heritage itself, combined with the explanations of the tour guides, will help us to understand more about its various cultural heritage and bring the soul of cultural heritage to a higher level.

In addition, today (7/7) is the 15th anniversary of the inscription of Penang George Town. Together with other interns from the organization, we went to a celebration that covered the entire city of George and allowed all the local residents and visitors from all over the world to learn more and more about the diverse ethnic cultures and characteristics and even the different religious beliefs of the city of George, which is protected by the United Nations. This annual celebration is very meaningful to the city of George and we have gained a lot from participating for the first time today.
