    I. Program Description:

    1. Schedule: June 25 (Thu) – July 16 (Thu), 2026 (Total: 22 days, including online sessions and an on-site program in Japan)

    Online Program: June 25 (Thu) – July 1 (Wed), 2026 (7 days)

    On-site Program in Japan: July 2 (Thu) – July 16 (Thu), 2026 (15 days)

    Participants are required to attend both the online and on-site programs in full.

    (In case of special circumstances, program dates may be adjusted or the program may be canceled.)

    2. Information: To enhance Japanese language learners’ understanding of Japan and to promote international and cultural exchange among university students in Asia, Japan Airlines (JAL) will offer the “JAL Scholarship – Japan Studies Program 2026” during the summer. The program consists of 7 days of online training and 15 days of on-site study in Japan, totaling 22 days.

    3. Program Fee: Round-trip airfare to Japan, accommodation, meals, transportation during the program period, and overseas travel accident insurance (excluding personal expenses) will be fully covered by the organizer. Please refer to the official announcement for detailed information.

    4. Number of Participants: 2. TKU may nominate up to 3 students (including graduate students) for selection.

    5. Eligibility:

    (1) Tamkang University Students and must not apply for suspension or withdrawal during the program period.

    (2) Undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in Japan, the SDGs, environmental protection, and social issues.

    (3) Applicants must be 20–25 years old, citizens of the Republic of China (Taiwan), with both the applicant and their parents being non-native Japanese speakers, of good moral character, in good physical health, proactive, and possessing strong teamwork skills.

    (4) Applicants must have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level N2 or above (including N2).

    6. Registration Method:

    Applicants are required to complete the internal activity registration and submit the following documents:

    (1) Chinese academic transcript

    (2) Proof of Japanese language proficiency

    (3) Application form

    (4) Consent form

    All required documents should be compiled and submitted to the Exchange Section, Office of International Affairs (Room T1006).If the number of applicants exceeds the available quota, a selection process will be conducted by a review committee.

    II. Deadline: If you’re interested in the program, please fill out the form and submit the required documents to T1006 by 12 P.M, Friday, January 30, 2026.
