Description:
1. The Franco-Taiwanese Cultural Award is jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques of the Institut de France since 1996. Entering its 30th edition, the award has expanded its scope to all of Europe since 2006, recognizing institutions and individuals with outstanding contributions to the promotion of cultural exchanges between Taiwan and Europe. Each award carries a prize of €25,000 in principle.
2. Award recipients are jointly selected by Taiwanese and French review committees. The results will be officially announced by the Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques, which will also notify the awardees and invite them to attend the award ceremony held at the Institut de France.
3. The nomination period is open from now until May 31, 2026.
