2026 Academic Year Orientation and Entrance Program for Graduate and Undergraduate Freshmen

Details:

1. The Overcoming Difficulties Slope Tour, Opening Ceremony, and Department Orientation will be held together as a one-day program. The other day will be designated for health examinations.
2. The Department of Global Politics and Economics’ Overcoming Difficulties Slope Tour, Opening Ceremony, and Department Orientation will be held during Session 2 on September 11 (Friday). Please refer to the attached file for the detailed schedule. The health examination will be held on September 10 (Thursday). For details, please refer to the Office of Health Services website:

3. The Overcoming Difficulties Slope Tour and Opening Ceremony are important university events, and all undergraduate freshmen are required to attend. Students who are unable to attend must provide a doctor’s certificate and complete the leave application by the end of September. Students who do not meet the requirements for approved leave must make up the required service-learning hours by the end of November, with one hour of make-up service required for each missed activity. Students who fail to complete the make-up service by the deadline will receive one demerit (warning) in accordance with the University’s regulations on student rewards and disciplinary actions.
