1.For the purpose of printing English degree certificates, students are required to provide and verify their English names. Students who hold passports, including international and overseas students, must enter their English names exactly as shown in their passports. Students who do not have an English name may refer to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bureau of Consular Affairs website at https://www.boca.gov.tw/mp-1.html and select “Passport” → “Chinese-to-English Name Translation System.”

2.Please notify graduating students to log in to the TKU Student Information System and check their English names under “Student Basic Information Inquiry” by December 15, 2026. Students whose English names are incorrect or not displayed must make the necessary corrections. Otherwise, if the English name on the degree certificate is incorrect, the certificate will not be reissued. Students who have not provided an English name will not be issued an English degree certificate upon graduation. If an English degree certificate is required, students must apply for one separately at their own expense.
