The Czechia-Taiwan Forum is the flagship convening event of the EVC Taiwan Office.

During this year’s Forum, we will explore how Czechia and Taiwan can work together to strengthen resilience of democratic processes and institutions, specifically in the context of responses to the polycrisis, the inclusion of migrants in resilience-building efforts, and the role of influencers in safeguarding information integrity. We are honored to platform voices from the broader Central and Eastern European region, including Ukraine, to emphasize the inter- and intra-regional character of the challenges we are addressing.

You may find more information about the event, including the complete agenda, in the attachment.

The event will feature the participation of members of a Czech delegation of democratic resilience experts organized by the EVC Taiwan Office:

    • Dr. Gabriela Svárovská, Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of the Czech Republic and Co-Chair, Czech Green Party (Zelení)

    • Magda Faltová, Director, Association for Integration and Migration

    • Michal Beneš, Secretary General, Association of Online Media and Content Creators (ATOM).

This project is supported by a grant from the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy.

The European Values Center for Security Policy Taiwan Office is committed to creating a welcoming and accessible environment for all attendees. If you require accommodations, please indicate them in your RSVP form.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
